Dear Friends and Family,
We wanted to share an update on our journey to grow our family through adoption.
Last year, we experienced both hope and heartbreak. In 2024, we matched with a birth mom and prepared to welcome a baby in March 2025. We built a relationship with her and traveled to Memphis when she went into labor, expecting to meet and welcome a child. After several days of uncertainty and even returning home once, we were told the adoption would move forward. We went back, only to find out at the final moment that the plan had changed and birth mom was going to parent her child.
After taking time to process and heal, we began praying about next steps. Through what felt like a very unexpected and Spirit-led connection, we were introduced to Christian Homes & Family Services. From the beginning, we both felt a deep sense of peace.
This organization cares for birth mothers with compassion and integrity, offering ongoing emotional, spiritual, and practical support—both during and long after pregnancy. That mattered deeply to us. It also brings reassurance after our previous experience, as their process significantly reduces financial risk if an adoption does not proceed.
As of April 2026, we are officially approved and waiting to be chosen by a birth mom.
When that happens, we will need to provide a $27,000 placement fee. We’ve been blessed with a $3,000 matching grant through Lifesong for Orphans, meaning every gift will be doubled up to that amount. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to the agency.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
