Will and Roxanne’s journey to parenthood began later in life, with their relationship blossoming in 2020. From the start, they embraced open conversations about building their family, with adoption being a central theme. They believed deeply in the blessings adoption could bring. After marrying in late 2021, they initially tried to conceive naturally for a year. When that didn’t work out, they embarked on the adoption journey, welcoming their daughter Lizzie into their lives in April 2023. Lizzie’s social nature made them realize the importance of her having a sibling.
Inspired by their experience, Will and Roxanne continued to discuss expanding their family through adoption. In a heartfelt conversation, Roxanne encouraged them to trust in God and move forward in faith, saying, “If it’s not an if but when.” This led them to be matched with a birth mom expecting a baby boy in early April 2026. They are overjoyed at the prospect of welcoming another precious child into their home.
The Knox family have been blessed to be awarded a $7,000 matching grant from Lifesong for Orphans. Contributed funds will go towards travel costs associated with receiving our child, contractually required monthly birth mother living expenses, and legal fees for the adoption attorney.
