We’re adopting a baby boy!
Our names are Ian and Katie Witte, we have been married eight years and are so excited to be growing our family through adoption!
Our Story:
For the past several years, we have hoped to grow our family, but our journey has been marked by both longing and loss. We experienced three miscarriages and, after seeking help from a fertility specialist, went through three unsuccessful IUI attempts. Through it all, we continued to pray and trust in God, believing He already knew what our family would look like. Even in heartbreak, that faith brought us comfort and helped us hold on to hope that one day things would fall into place. Adoption had been something we talked about since early in our relationship, though we didn’t fully realize how significant it would become in our lives. As we began the adoption process, we prayed for guidance, knowing we were stepping into the unknown and preparing ourselves for what could be a long and uncertain journey. Still, we remained hopeful—and we feel incredibly blessed. Just one week after our home study was finalized, we were matched with an expectant birth mom. We are overjoyed and can’t wait to welcome this little one into our family.

First, we greatly appreciate your prayers as we walk through this journey. Please pray for Baby Witte, for our baby’s birth mother, and for us as we prepare to grow our family. We hope that God would be glorified through every step of this process!
Second, we are hoping to raise $20,000 to help cover the many expenses involved in the adoption process, including home study fees, background checks, legal fees, travel costs, and agency fees that also provide counseling and care for the birth mother, among other needs. It can be shocking to hear what the average adoption costs in America. Typically the total fees are between $40,000-$60,000. We have been saving and working hard to cover as much of this as possible. We are hoping to raise $20,000 with your help to allow us to fully fund our adoption.
