We are Micah & Laura, and we are hoping to adopt again. Adoption has always been on our hearts as our Plan A for our family. It was even something that we talked about before we started dating, and discovered that we both felt strongly about adoption as part of our future family’s story.
Our son was adopted at birth, and we have long hoped to adopt again, but the timing for our family did not feel quite right until the past year. Then, one day after a particularly difficult season, our three children sat us down and said, “Mom and Dad, we want to adopt! We’ve all talked about it, and we’ve decided we want another brother or sister!” We had already been feeling the Lord’s prompting, and this was such a sweet confirmation of HIs leading in our family.
We know through experience that there are many ups and downs on the journey to adopt, but we have seen firsthand the “goodness of the Lord in the land of the living” (Ps. 27:13) in the many ways our family has already been blessed through adoption.
Our kids are all very excited to add another child to our family (as are we!), and as one of them put it: “More kids means more fun!” We resonate with that and are so excited for our whole family to be involved in caring for and loving a new child!

JULY 2026 UPDATE: We were recently matched with a birth mother who is due in early August!
