The Groeneweg’s are adopting…again!

Hello!

We are the Groeneweg’s and are adopting for the 2nd time! Adoption has been a big part of our lives as we have known we wanted to grow our family through adoption before we were married. After having our 3 biological children, we were ready to start our adoption journey. We were matched with our son in January of 2019 and took him home in February of 2019.

We recently felt God’s nudge calling us to adopt again! We have all the paperwork completed and are officially waiting to see who God has planned for us.

This past summer, our beloved town suffered a catastrophic flood that destroyed many of our friends’ and families’ homes. As we have been rebuilding our school, our loved one’s homes, and the entire community, we were blessed with a matching grant from Lifesong for $6,000. As we anticipate our 2nd match, we hope our story will touch you to pray over those we love who need it most, including our little one we are anxiously awaiting. With God in our corner, we know He will provide.

  • In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
  • Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
  • *3.5% fee for donations given with an American Express card

We are still anxiously waiting to be matched! We have made all the arrangements we can as we watch God’s plan unfold for us. We are excited for this next chapter!
