Our Journey to Baby: Roger & Alli's Adoption Fund
After five years of waiting, hoping, and navigating heartbreak, we are overjoyed to announce that we are adopting!
Throughout our relationship, we knew that getting pregnant would be a challenge. Early on, we talked openly about adoption and agreed to trust God to lead us in the right direction to grow our family. Now, that door is officially open.
Where We Are Now
We have successfully completed our home study and profile book!
Currently, we are active with a couple of agencies and are waiting to be matched. We are fully trusting God's perfect timing, believing that the right connection will come when the moment is right.
How You Can Support Us
Bringing our baby home takes a village, and we would be so honored if you joined ours. There are two ways you can partner with us:
1. Through Prayer
We are deeply aware of the courage, love, and complexity at the heart of adoption. Please pray for:
  • Wisdom and discernment as we walk through each new step.
  • Peace and strength during the period of waiting.
  • The expectant mother and the child who will one day become a part of our story.

2. Financial Partnership

As many of you know, adoption comes with significant financial hurdles. We have been quoted $60,000 to cover agency fees, legal costs, home study fees, birth family expenses, and travel. We were just as shocked by that number as you might be!

We are so thankful to have received a $7,000 matching grant through Lifesong, provided by La Via de James and our "Outside the Walls" partners. This means every dollar you donate will be doubled! All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to the agency to cover adoption expenses.

If you feel led to support us financially, please know that no gift is too small. Every single dollar brings us one step closer to welcoming our child home.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.

<li>In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.</li>
<li>Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.</li>
<li>*3.5% fee for donations given with an American Express card</li>
