Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you so much for your support and prayers in our adoption journey! You have been with us through our decision process and right now in the middle of our journey.
The desire to adopt has been in Vasti’s heart since her teenage years. It started as a small nudge in her heart, and has been transferred to David as we were exposed in our church family to the need for adoption, and the blessing that adoption would be to our family. We are also looking forward to partnering with the family placing their child for adoption.
Our adoption will be through CAS- Christian Adoption Services, a loving organization that provides ongoing spiritual, emotional, and physical care for birth moms before, during and after adoption. The training they have provided has helped us understand the courage and vulnerabilities of birth Moms who place their children for adoption. It has also connected us to other families who foster or have adopted.
The opportunity to bring the Gospel into the lives of people in need has encouraged our faith and helped us see our story as part of God’s story and His redemptive plans for the world.
We are grateful to have been awarded a $4000 matching grant Fund administered Abby’s Adoption Fund in South Carolina and a $2500 matching grant administered by Josiah’s Adoption fund in North Carolina. This means that for every dollar given through Lifesong toward the matching grant, Lifesong provides an equal donation, up to the total matching grant amount.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.

- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.

- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
