Dearest friends and family—
How do we even begin to talk about the incredible journey in God we’ve been on the last half decade? It is the most profound, beautiful, and tragic journey of our lives. Some would call it a journey of infertility but it was/is so much more than that. It’s been a life-changing process of learning the power of God’s love in the pit of hell. “There is a place so deep inside love where nothing else hurts…” is a phrase he gave us as our community carried us through our darkest hours. Their love for us is proof of the power of God’s love, and proof that family is so much more than biological relationships. Family is a community of people committed to loving each other no matter what. Ultimately, adoption is at the very center of our faith. We have all been adopted into the family of God.
We have come to believe that there must be a child out there that, for whatever reason, the Lord knows we need to step in to be the parents. What He could be up to and the restoration that He is doing through adoption excites us. Also, who will the birth mom be? How can we love her too? We understand the birth mom will have her own grief, and the adoptive child will have his or her own grief. The fact that we all get to come together to make something beautiful out of what has been hard on all sides, is truly incredible.
We’ve been told the average adoption fees we will face are 50-60K. We have already raised about half of that with 25K to go! With Lifesong, we have a matching grant of 9K so we are currently trying to raise that amount on this platform. Once we achieve this, we will resume our funding on our GoFundMe page 🙂

- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
