Hi! We are the Majors. We live in Uganda for 15 years and that is where God uniquely built our family of 17.
In 2019, one of our 13 adopted daughters received a life-altering diagnosis. Since then, we have tried many different treatment options and facilities, and ultimately moved our family from Uganda to the United States to be closer to the care that our daughter needs and support her on this journey.
Because her illness is “severe and persistent” our daughter requires ongoing care in a residential facility. We are so blessed to have found one close to our home so that we can see her often. She has been at this new facility for seven months now and is doing better than we have seen her in years. We feel like we finally have our girl back, and we praise God who truly does redeem and restore.
Our hope is to be able to continue to walk with our daughter through the ups and downs of her illness, and continuing to pay for her treatment center is one of our biggest hurdles. We need to raise $4,500 per month in order to keep her there. We believe that this gives her the best chance of flourishing a reaching her God given potential and we are so grateful for all who will come alongside us with both prayer and financial support. We certainly could not walk this road alone!
