We are extremely grateful to be awarded a $7,000 matching grant through Lifesong & We Care for Orphans!
How’s the process going? God is always teaching us and growing us to be conformed to the image of His Son. One of the biggest ways He was growing us in this particular season would be in our trust and dependence on Him. With our first adoption, God taught us patience and to be content in each season of life. However, it has been chock-full of difficulties, a lot of starts and stops, which has been quite the emotional roller coaster as we navigated the tears and heartache of our most recent adoption dismissals. Through it all, we have been reminded that we need to “trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding.” God has tied our hearts together to the child(ren) He has planned for our family, and we are trusting God’s perfect plan and depending on His will.
How can you help? First – Pray! Please pray for:
- Our future child’s birth family- that they would feel loved, supported, and at peace with the decision to place. Pray that we can show them the love of Christ and be a witness to them throughout our relationship.
- Peace for us, with the many unknowns and risks that go into the adoption process.
- Patience as we wait for God’s plan to unfold.
- Provision for financial needs and our ability to remain debt-free in this process.
Second – If you would like to join us in our journey and support our adoption financially, every dollar you give will be matched through this grant!
The average cost of domestic infant adoption in the US is between $50-70,000. We are doing our part by saving, selling things around the house, applying for grants, and picking up extracurriculars to help offset some of these costs. We have already been so blessed and seen God opening doors and providing through so many of you, and we know He will continue to do so! We are so thankful to have been awarded a $7,000 matching grant from Lifesong for Orphans!

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
