Melissa and Charlies Adoption Journey

Melissa Dixon LEXINGTON, Tennessee

We are Melissa and Charlie Dixon. We believe we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We have been foster parents for many years, and now feel led to adopt another child in the United States. We are currently waiting to be matched.

We have been awarded two matching grants! We received a $4,000 match grant from The Agape Family Legacy and a $2,500 matching grant from Lifesong for Orphans. So every dollar we raise up to $6,500 will be matched and all go toward this adoption.

We have one biological daughter who is 17 and four little girls who came to be our daughters through foster care. Without Jesus being in the center of all of this, none of this would be possible.

We ask that you pray for the biological parents of this child that the Lord already knows will become part of our family. We ask you to pray for our family as we are eagerly waiting and are excited to welcome a new baby into our family.
