Churchill Adoption Journey

Back in January of 2024, we were presented with the opportunity to adopt Jonathan’s biological half-brother and there was no way we could say no to the chance to let Jonny and his brother grow up together.  However, the journey of bringing Caleb into our family has been much more complicated from a legal standpoint than we could have ever imagined.  The result has been really substantial legal expenses that we were not anticipating simply to keep Caleb in our family.  We have already had five hearings and will still need at least three more to officially ensure that Caleb will be a Churchill for the rest of his life.  Please feel no pressure to give, but we are once again trusting God to help us get to the finish line and we know we’ll need some help to get there.
