Hey there, we’re Connor + Stephanie!
Adoption has been something we’ve thought about for years. Even before we had children of our own, we loved the beauty of a family being formed through adoption and hoped it might one day be part of our story.
God has since blessed us with two wonderful biological children, and we are incredibly grateful for them! Stephanie’s pregnancies were extremely difficult, involving hospitalizations and extensive medical interventions. But those difficult pregnancies are not why we are adopting.
We are pursuing adoption because we love the Lord, and because He first loved us and adopted us into His family. The gospel tells us that we have been welcomed into God’s family through Christ—not because we earned or deserved it, but because of His grace. Adoption gives us a beautiful picture of that truth, and we want our family to reflect the gospel we believe.
For years, we prayed about adoption and wrestled with the fear and uncertainty that naturally comes with it. Eventually, we realized we didn’t need to have all the answers. We simply needed to be faithful with what God had placed on our hearts.
So here we are! We said yes, and we are now pursuing domestic adoption.

Counting the Cost
The cost of adoption is significant, but we trust that the Lord will provide a way.
Lifesong for Orphans is providing us with a $4,000 matching grant, which means your donation could stretch even farther and help us get closer to our goal!
We are working with an adoption consultant who gives us the potential to see cases from multiple agencies and attorneys. Because of that, costs can vary depending on the situation, but every penny donated will go toward adoption-related expenses, including:
- Home study visits and application fees
- Agency fees
- Attorney fees
- Birth mother expenses
- Counseling services
- Medical expenses
- Travel to the child’s birthplace/origin

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
