Our story began 12 years ago, and for the last 5 years we’ve been blessed to walk through life together as husband and wife. From the very beginning, our relationship felt natural and effortless. We quickly realized how well we complemented one another and shared many of the same hopes and dreams for the future especially when it came to building a family.
Over the years, we have grown together through both joyful seasons and difficult ones. We've learned how to communicate openly, support one another through challenges, and celebrate the everyday moments that make life special. Whether we're spending time with family and friends, traveling, taking walks with our dogs, or simply laughing together at home, we genuinely enjoy doing life side by side. Our marriage is built on faith, trust, patience, respect, and friendship, and we strive every day to continue growing together and strengthening the life we have built.
Our faith has always been at the center of our relationship. We believe God brought us together for a purpose, and throughout our marriage we have trusted Him to guide our steps even when the path wasn't what we expected. One thing we always knew was that we wanted to become parents. Even before we were married, we talked about growing our family one day, and adoption was always something that was on our hearts.
A few years into our marriage, after trying to have children without success, we began searching for answers. About two years ago, we went through fertility testing and treatments, including two rounds of IUI and one round of IVF. With every appointment and every procedure, we prayed and hoped for a different outcome, but unfortunately those treatments were not successful.
As we continued processing everything we had experienced, we decided to meet with another fertility doctor to get a second opinion. During that process, adoption kept finding its way back into our conversations. One thing that stood out to us was that the fertility doctor we met with had adopted two of his sons. Hearing his story and seeing the love he had for his family made adoption feel even more real, personal, and possible for our future. Looking back, it felt like one more way God was gently guiding our hearts toward the path He had been preparing for us all along.
While that season was filled with disappointment and heartache, it also strengthened our faith and reminded us that God's plans do not always look like our own. Through every setback, we found ourselves continually returning to adoption. It wasn't a backup plan or something we turned to only after infertility it was something God had placed on our hearts long before our fertility journey began. As we prayed, reflected, and trusted Him to lead us, adoption became more than just an option; it became the calling we felt God had placed on our lives.
We believe every child is a gift from God, and our hope is to provide a child with a loving, stable, faith-filled home where they can grow, thrive, and always know they are deeply loved. We look forward to the big milestones, but we're just as excited for the everyday moments bedtime stories, family vacations, celebrating holidays, cheering from the sidelines, helping with homework, and creating traditions that will last a lifetime.
We know that parenthood is both a blessing and a responsibility, and we are ready to embrace it with open hearts. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to pursue adoption and trust that God is writing a story bigger than our own. While we may not know exactly what the future holds, we know He is leading the way, and we are excited to welcome the child He has planned for our family.
More than anything, we look forward to sharing our love, our faith, and our lives with a child, helping them always know they are cherished, supported, and unconditionally loved. We are trusting God's timing, His plan, and His purpose as we continue this journey toward becoming parents.
