Our Story: Kevin, Marissa, Samuel
Hi! We’re Kevin and Marissa and we’re excited to share our journey of growing our family through adoption once more!
We always knew we wanted kids, even before we were married we would go back on forth on how many we would like to have. Some time after we got married and with no success on getting pregnant, we knew we were one of many couples who struggle with infertility. This part of our story was hard but looking back we see how God grew our faith and opened our hearts to adoption. In 2023, we welcomed Samuel into our family through adoption and were overjoyed. Fast forward two years and our family of 3 is so happy as we look to add one more member! That’s why we’re adopting again!
We were loved so well by our agency, our church, our community and God has been with us. We have been given a matching grant of $5,000, which means that any donation you make will be doubled—your generosity will have twice the impact! We’re incredibly grateful for this opportunity, and your support will help us move closer to welcoming another child into our family.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
