Jayson and Jordan Are Pursuing International Adoption

God places things on the heart of a faithful Christian. For our family, adoption has become one of those things.

“Adoption is the gospel in a particularly visible form.” — Russell Moore, Adopted for Life

Adoption has held a special place in our hearts for many years, and we believe God has given us a burden that He is asking us to faithfully carry. To stand in the gap for a child who needs a family, a home, and the love of parents. We don’t know everything about the road ahead, but we know that we want to be faithful with the opportunity God has placed before us.

We are pursuing international adoption because we believe that God’s family is built across borders, cultures, and circumstances and our family can be too. Our desire is not simply to add another child to our family, but to give a child the gift of belonging and to know they are wanted, loved, cherished, and forever part of a family.

For us, adoption is also deeply connected to the Gospel. Scripture tells us that through Christ, we have been adopted into God’s family. We have experienced the incredible grace of being welcomed, loved, and given a place we could never earn for ourselves. Adoption gives us a small but beautiful picture of that same truth: that God makes room, He welcomes, and that God is in the business of bringing people home.

We are currently raising $48,000 to help cover the significant costs of this adoption, including agency fees, legal expenses, travel, and the many other expenses involved in bringing our child home. We know that is a significant goal, but we also know that God will be faithful to us every step of the way.

We are asking our family, friends, church community, and anyone who feels led to join us in this journey through financial support, prayer and encouragement. Every gift, no matter the size, helps bring us one step closer to welcoming our child home.

Throughout the process, we continue to praise God for His faithfulness and His provision. We trust that He has gone before us in this, that He will continue to care for our current family and our future child, and that He will faithfully carry us through this journey. Thank you for glorifying God with us as we pursue his calling on our lives!
