Our journey toward adoption didn’t begin with a single moment, but with a growing awareness that our family was meant to be bigger and more diverse than what we could see right in front of us.
Over time, our hearts became increasingly drawn to children who are waiting, especially siblings who face the possibility of being separated simply because there aren’t enough families willing or able to say yes to more than one child at a time. The idea that brothers and sisters might lose not only their parents, but also each other, deeply moved us. We knew that if we had the capacity to help keep siblings together, we wanted to explore that path faithfully and intentionally.
After much prayer, counsel, and reflection, we felt led toward adoption through Brazil. The more we learned, the clearer it became that this was not just a logistical decision, but a calling shaped by compassion, responsibility, and hope. These are children with stories, cultures, and identities already forming. Our desire is not to erase those stories, but to honor them, protect them, and give them room to grow in safety and love.
Adoption is both beautiful and costly. Beyond the emotional weight of the journey, the financial burden is significant and often overwhelming for families who feel called to step forward. That reality is why we are so grateful for Lifesong and for a community that believes caring for vulnerable children is something we do together.
We don’t see this as “our” adoption alone. It is the result of many hands and hearts coming alongside us. Every prayer, every word of encouragement, and every financial gift becomes part of a larger story of redemption and provision.
Our hope is simple: to provide a stable, loving home where children can heal, belong, and thrive together as siblings. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering how you might be part of what God is doing through it.
