Dear Friends and Family,
We want to begin by saying thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love, prayers, and support that have already been poured into our lives. It truly means more to us than we can express.
Last year, Chandler and I began the journey of growing our family. In a short period of time, we experienced two devastating pregnancy losses. During that season of grief, adoption was gently placed on our hearts as something to prayerfully consider. Adoption has always been part of our story — it was actually one of the very first conversations we had while dating. We just didn’t know when or how that chapter would unfold.
Adoption has never been a second choice for us. While we still hope to have biological children one day, we are incredibly excited and grateful to grow our family in whatever way God allows.
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
— Ephesians 3:20–21
We are currently pursuing domestic infant adoption and are working with an adoption consultant. Our home study is complete, and we are officially active — meaning we are now being presented with adoption opportunities and waiting to be chosen by an expectant mother.
The average cost per adoption opportunity ranges from $50,000–$65,000, which includes agency fees, birth parent expenses, legal services, medical costs, and other necessary adoption expenses.
We have been incredibly blessed to receive a $5,000 matching grant through Lifesong for Orphans. This means that every dollar donated toward our adoption will be matched — up to $5,000 — allowing us to turn $5,000 raised into $10,000 toward bringing our baby home.
If you feel led to give toward our adoption fund, we would be deeply grateful. And if giving financially isn’t possible, your prayers and sharing our story with others mean just as much to us.
We will continue updating this page throughout our journey. Thank you for following along, praying for us, and supporting us in any way. Each prayer, share, and donation brings us one step closer to bringing our baby home.
With love and gratitude,
Chandler & Megan
