Bringing Home Our Baby Girl – The Payne Family

Whitney Payne
Whitney Payne China Grove, North Carolina

We are so thankful that you’ve taken the time to visit our page! God is actively working through our story in such a sweet way. He has directed our path to adopt a little girl. We do not know who she is, or where she’s at right now (or if she is even born), but God does! He is the Author of all of our stories and we are trusting Him with every step.

As you may be aware, adoption comes with significant financial expenses – including the home study, agency fees, legal fees, travel expenses, as well as living costs, medical bills and counseling fees for the birth mother. Our overall goal is $50,000; but our immediate need is $20,000 ($7000 of this will be matched with our grants).

HUGE NEWS! We have recently been awarded a matching grant through Josiah’s Adoption Fund and Lifesong for Orphans, totaling $7,000! This means we need to raise $7,000 (in new funds) in order to receive this grant ($7000 raised = $14,000 total!).

Will you prayerfully consider being a part of our little girl’s story by making a tax deductible donation through Lifesong for Orphans?

STRIPE charges an online processing fee (2.2% +.30 USD per transaction)*. Your donations will be decreased by this amount. You may also send a check payable to “Lifesong for Orphans”. In the memo line please write “Payne 11548”, to ensure it is credited to our account. Please mail to Lifesong for Orphans, PO Box 9, Gridley, IL 61744.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.

  • In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
  • Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
  • *3.5% fee for donations given with an American Express card
