As many of you know, we adopted Andrew from foster care at age 8. Prior to his adoption, he was in multiple foster homes and suffered an immense amount of trauma prior to joining our family. He is struggling working through this trauma. Adoption isn’t just the celebration of “gotcha day.” We are living in the trenches right now. Our boy needs help at a level that is not outpatient. He wants the opportunity to transform his life, all while growing closer to God to provide ultimate healing. He has been accepted to a wonderful faith-based residential program in Arkansas. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover this program. God has provided and we have secured most of the funding for the residential program so far! He will also need intense aftercare to support his healing. If you feel lead to give, it goes directly to Andrew and they match dollar to dollar. More importantly, please pray for our family as we support him while also healing our hearts.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
