Our decision to adopt is rooted in our faith and our understanding of God’s love for His children. Scripture reminds us that through Christ, we have been adopted into God’s family (Ephesians 1:5), and it is this truth that inspires our hearts to open our home to a child. Adoption, to us, is not only about building a family but also about living out the gospel by extending love, security, and belonging.
William’s life has been transformed through God’s grace, having been redeemed and restored from addiction by faith in Christ. This journey has instilled in him a deep sense of gratitude and a desire to pour out God’s love into the life of a child. Karen has seen adoption lived out in her own family, having grown up with an adopted brother, and she has carried that testimony of love into her work as a special education teacher.
Together, we believe adoption is an expression of God’s calling on our marriage: to nurture, to guide, and to raise a child in a home where faith, hope, and love are at the center. Our prayer is to be instruments of God’s love, creating a family that reflects His heart and offering a child the gift of belonging, safety, and unconditional love.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
