We are so thankful to We Care for Orphans and Lifesong for Orphans for offering us a matching grant of $7000 (combined)! We feel incredibly blessed and grateful that each donation made toward our journey will be matched by these organizations! Here is a little about our story...
I got pregnant in August of 2021 and the pregnancy was fraught with complications early on — from concerns about low amniotic fluid and the baby’s femurs measuring short to being diagnosed with severe preeclampsia.
I developed HELLP syndrome just shy of 31 weeks, and my son was born via emergency C-section. We spent 53 long days in the NICU, but God kept His hand on my son.
Every doctor I spoke to after delivering my son told me that my risks of developing these same complications with future pregnancies would be very high. We took this news as confirmation that adoption was God’s plan for the future of our family.
We started our first adoption journey when our son was 2 years old, and 9 months later, we were matched with our beautiful baby girl! We were blessed to bring her home at just one week old.
Now here we are, once again trusting God’s timing and provision as we long to grow our family through adoption for the second time. He taught us so much through our first adoption journey, and we are looking to Him and leaning in to whatever He wants to teach us this time.
Our son and daughter both entered our family through sacrificial love, and we’re grateful that God can use our story for His glory.

- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
