Snyder Family Adoption #3

Kelsey Snyder
Kelsey Snyder Mart, Texas

Ron and I met in the spring of 2015 as we were both in the final year of our college degree to become agricultural science teachers. We got married in July of 2018 at a church with a large number of our closest family and friends. Shortly after getting married, we began trying to start our family. We struggled with infertility for several years and, after many prayers, knew God was leading our family to adoption. Adoption is something that we have talked about since we first started dating. We never imagined it would be the sole way we would grow our family, but we would not have it any other way. We adopted our daughter in 2021 and our son in 2023.

At the beginning of 2026 adoption began stirring in our hearts again. We officially began the process in June of 2026. We received the surprise of a lifetime in early September when we received a phone call that we had been chosen with a birth mother that is due at the beginning of January.

Adoption comes with significant financial expenses – including the home study, agency fees, legal fees, travel expenses, as well as living costs, medical bills and counseling fees for the birth mother. Our first two adoptions would not have been possible without the generosity of others who came alongside us. Adoption is beautiful, but it is also costly, and the financial burden can be overwhelming for families. Every grant, every donation, and every prayer made it possible for our two kids to come home. We are forever grateful. God is Good!

We have recently been awarded a matching grant through We Care for Orphans and Lifesong for Orphans, totaling $6,500! This means we need to raise $6500 in new funds in order to receive this grant in full (6,500 raised = $13,000 total!).
