At just 16 years old, Darryl has already faced more challenges than many people experience in a lifetime. After spending much of his childhood without the stability every child deserves, he was adopted at the age of 12 by a family who opened their hearts and home to him with unconditional love and hope.
Adoption gave Darryl a family, but it could not erase the trauma he experienced before finding his forever home. As he has grown older, the emotional wounds from his early years have become more difficult to navigate. Like many young people who have experienced significant childhood trauma, Darryl is now facing challenges that require specialized therapeutic care.

Unfortunately, the intensive therapeutic services Darryl needs are beyond what the family can financially afford.
