During high school and college, Donovan and I went on many international mission trips where we had the privilege of working with the local kiddos through vacation bible schools and other outreach opportunities. It was through these interactions that we both developed not only a love for children, but other cultures as well. When we started dating, we discussed in detail that we wanted the nations and adoption to be a part of our story. After having three bio girls of our own, we were reminded how much we wanted an international child to be a part of our story and family.
We started the adoption process with Lifeline Children’s Services in August of 2023. As of March 2025, Colombia has officially approved our dossier and we are in the matching phase. We are approved for an individual child or a sibling group of two, ten years old or younger. We are praying that God will match us with kid(s) that will mesh well with us and be open to being deeply loved by our family!

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
