Sarah and I thought we were done having kids, until we went to a conference together in February 2019. As we were worshipping together, the Lord spoke to both of us individually and at the same time. We saw the word adoption on the screen, it was in the lyrics of the song we were singing, and the Lord began to speak to our hearts about adoption. We both stepped out of that session and were amazed that the Lord spoke the same thing to each of us. We were both a little scared and nervous, but we've learned when the Lord says to go, you strap on your seat belt and get ready to watch Him move! So we said yes, and we hit the ground running. We are so excited to add another child to our family and to see how the Lord works as we seek Him in our adoption.
