Adoption is not about finding children for families, it’s about finding families for children.
When our Journey Began
The heart of our family beats for caring for orphans. When our adoption journey began, we were involved with a couple of adoption ministries. Three years ago we began talking about growing our family. We knew that our next child was going to come to us through adoption. We didn’t know at the time if that was going to be through domestic or international adoption. Through doing some research and taking some classes on orphan care, we decided to adopt internationally. As we continued to pray together, the Lord laid a desire on our hearts to adopt from South Korea. To help us with this journey, we have partnered with Holt International. Holt International has been working with orphans in South Korea since the Korean war and they have an amazing reputation within the adoption community.
About our Son
In November, we were matched with a chunky, cheerful and beautiful seven month old boy. As we opened the email containing his picture, we were full of excitement and the image of Theo took our breath away. As we looked at his picture, we couldn’t help but smile and be filled with joy. Because this is the child for which we have prayed. Theo is a happy and healthy boy who has an infectious smile and we anticipate the day that he is in our home.
Our Plea to Ask for Your Help
Bringing our son home from South Korea is one of the greatest pleasures that we have been called to do. We can not do this alone though. We have $4,000 to raise before our paper work can be sent to Korea for the court process. We would like to invite you to consider helping us financially… Whatever you decide to give today, Lifesong for Orphans will match!!! Yes, we know that’s something to do the happy dance about!!! So to spell it out for you, if we raise $2,000, the $4,000 need is met! Thank you for sowing into the adoption of Theo Jackson and for sharing our story amongst friends and family.
