We’re adopting siblings from Inida!
We’ve been married for a little over 10 years. For the majority of our marriage we’ve resided in northeast Pennsylvania, although we also lived in Germany for a year! Aaron works as a radio announcer at a non-profit radio station and Julie serves as a Christian school teacher teaching math and science. We both enjoy running, hiking, spicy foods, camping, traveling, and playing and coaching sports.
Why Adoption?
When considering how or if to grow our family, adoption has consistently been our first choice. Knowing that there are so many children around the world without loving and stable families has created within us a strong desire to welcome one or more of these kids into our family. We’ve been drawn to international adoption specifically through various life experiences including living and traveling abroad and through specific relationships. God has redeemed our lives and adopted us into His family, making us children of God. We are so thankful for the lives we have in and through Him. It is our prayer that one day our children will also make a commitment to follow Christ and choose to live for Him.
We have a great community around us and are friends with several families who have been blessed through adoption! We've been matched with a sibling set of three children: two boys, currently ages six and four, and a two-year-old girl. Given that we don’t have any children in our home right now, this provides each of them with an immediate companion–someone who looks like them, shares their cultural heritage, and can relate to their background.
We are so thankful for the loving homes that we both grew up in and for the families God placed us in. We desire to provide a loving atmosphere for our kids to grow up in. We eagerly await the day when we will welcome these precious little ones into our family and community!
Would you consider helping us bring our kids home?
International adoption is expensive. Some of our expenses include court fees, agency fees, orphanage fees, immigration fees and travel fees. So far we have been able to cover all the initial fees and expenses with our savings and income. However, we are not able to cover all further costs.
We have been blessed with a generous matching grant through Lifesong for Orphans, funded by the Tim Tebow Foundation Adoption Fund. All gifts up to $15,000 will be doubled by the foundation!
STRIPE charges an online processing fee (2.2% +.30 USD per transaction). Your donations will be decreased by this amount. You may also send a check payable to “Lifesong for Orphans”.
