Update: We've been matched!

We've been matched with an expectant mother who is due in mid-April in Florida! We will be traveling to Florida when its time for baby boy to be born and will be there for a couple of weeks. We are happy to share more, please reach out to us for details. We are so thankful for all who are on this journey with us!

We’re so excited to share that we are adopting! 

Starting a family through adoption has been on our hearts since for many years and is something we’ve always felt God was nudging us toward. After several years of infertility, it was clear that God was leading us to adopt. We view this clarity as a blessing and we are excited to know that this is God’s path for our family. Because both of our immediate and extended families have adoptions, we  have seen firsthand how special adoption is. We are in the ‘waiting to be matched’ phase of our adoption journey.

How you can help:

1. Prayer

Please pray for patience, guidance, and preparing the heart of the expectant mother who chooses us. 

2. Financially

One of the greatest barriers to adopt is the cost. You may be surprised to hear that our adoption costs will range anywhere from $50,000 to $55,000+. These costs come from a variety of fees that include home study fees, agency fees, state fees, birth mother fees, legal fees…etc.  

We are excited to share that the first $8,000 raised on this site will be matched thanks to grants we’ve recieved through Lifesong for Orphans + We Care for Orphans. We have also submitted additional grant applications to help us reach our overall funding goal.

All donations are tax deductible.

3. Share our story

STRIPE charges an online processing fee (2.2% +.30 USD per transaction)*. Your donations will be decreased by this amount. You may also send a check payable to “Lifesong for Orphans”. In the memo line please write “Kinney 11133”, to ensure it is credited to our account. Please mail to Lifesong for Orphans, PO Box 9, Gridley, IL 61744.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.

• In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
• Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
• *3.5% fee for donations given with an American Express card
