Our journey to adopt baby #5 has been filled with joy and anticipation. After many years of waiting and hoping, we were matched with a special little baby girl here in Memphis. We have been told that she will be born prematurely and will need extra love and care. We are eagerly counting down the days until we get to meet our little one and hold her in our arms. We are humbled and blessed to be able to participate in this special journey and open our arms to welcome our fifth child. We are also grateful for her mother who is making the difficult choice to place her with us out of love for her daughter.
Many have asked how they can help so we’ve set up this page to make that easier. We are thankful for your prayers, first and foremost. For this baby, for her mother and birth family, and for us as we prepare for the transition.
Secondly, we would appreciate your financial support to help us complete this adoption and allow us to begin caring for this baby who will likely need significant medical care for quite some time. The adoption process will likely cost around $25,000 in total so any support is very much appreciated.
We have been awarded $8000 in matching grants from Hope That Binds Adoption Fund + Lifesong for Orphans, so every dollar donated (up to $8000) will be doubled. That’s a huge blessing and we are very grateful!!
