Watson Family Domestic Adoption

Tabitha Watson Tega Cay, South Carolina

Thank you for joining us on our adoption journey!

Adoption has always been a part of our family plan and we began our journey back in 2016. It has not been the easiest path, but we are thankful for the guidance from the Lord and the support of our family and friends during this journey. When we first began praying about our adoption journey, we were uncertain of which path we would take-domestic or international. As we were praying, attending seminars and educating ourselves on the ins and outs of adoption-Josh truly felt that we should pursue domestic adoption. We have partnered with Christian Adoption Consultants and are currently an active family, waiting for a match.

The adoption process is a beautifully complex entity to live through. There are emotional and spiritual highs and lows and without the support from our family and friends, it would be a difficult journey to travel alone. We are asking for your help in several ways to help make our family complete through adoption. First, we would love your prayers and encouragement. Prayers for our birth family and child-for their health and safety and for a relationship to form organically between our two families; for Harper and Tucker to be prepared to welcome another baby into the family and for strength for us as we navigate one of the most difficult parts of the adoption journey, the waiting period. It can be easy to become discouraged during the wait, but we want to give God the praise for all the blessings he has already given us and are use this time to speak with other families considering adoption.

Additionally, we ask that if you feel called to and are able, to contribute to our adoption costs, which can be upwards of $35,000 to $45,000. We have been blessed to receive a $3,000 matching grant funded by Legacy 685 (Houston's First Baptist Church) and while we are working hard to save and raise the additional funds needed, we would be humbly blessed to receive your support. No amount is too small to give as each penny gets us one step closer to completing our family. Thank you so much for your love and support!
