Hey! We are Dan & Grace Casey from Raleigh, NC. We have been married for just over five years. Dan is a Chaplain at a school in Raleigh and he also coaches the football team. Grace owns her own business as a freelance Graphic Designer.
Grace was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was in eighth grade. In the time since then, she has gone through 5 brain surgeries. When we got married in 2015 we began discussing our future family and after consulting with doctors, we realized that pregnancy would not be good for Grace’s health at this time. We prayed a lot about our next step and after many discussions with family and friends we decided to adopt! We officially began our adoption process in November of 2018 and it moved much quicker than we could have imagined. After a few days of working with our Adoption Consultant - we had a match! A few months later, our son Zion was born in Dallas, Texas and would couldn’t imagine life without him. As we were preparing to celebrate Zion's first birthday, we were informed that his Biological Sister was due in a week. After time in prayer and an amazing conversation with Zion's Birth Mother we matched with Ada!
We now have two kids less than a year apart. They have brought immeasurable joy to our lives and we are so glad that the Lord provided for both adoptions. We can't thank organizations like Raise the Dough and Lifesong for making it all possible!
