Adoption has captured our hearts for many years. After 9 years of being married and having a biological Daughter of our own we have decided to pursue domestic infant adoption. We are excited about bringing another little one into our family. We are 2 years into the process with a completed homestudy and lots of paperwork to get to this point of fundraising. Shiloh asks everyday “when’s my baby brother or sister coming?” We are excited to answer her back with “soon” as we are getting closer to picking up our little one.
We would love to join hands and do this with you. It takes a tribe to raise a child. We feel so honored and blessed by our community and the support we have received in this journey. We are so thankful that we can provide for this child’s daily needs and surround them with love. The reality of adoption financially is hard. There are lawyer bills, agency fees, and birth Mom support that we are responsible for to bring this child home. We received a $10,000 matching grant from Lifesong already. We have applied for others grants and have invested our own funds for the process so far. Anything, big, or small will be a blessing to us and this child. Thank you for partnering with us. Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
