Here we go again…
We have successfully adopted two teen boys from Ukraine three years ago. As God’s people, we are here on Earth to serve Him. As a family we decided to keep the knowledge and experience of adoption and not bury it like the foolish man (“But the one who had received one talent went out and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money” Matthew 25:18 quote from Bible),but we decided to be wise and make more out of what we have(“The one who had received five talents went off right away and put his money to work and gained five more.” Matthew 25:16 quote from Bible) .
All for God’s Glory!
We have been praying for sometime and we think God has truly meant Daniel for us. We first met Daniel through a hosting program Open Hearts and Homes for Children. Daniel was one of the few children who were on the list for hosting, but was still not picked by a family for the Christmas hosting. The deadline was coming to an end and it was Daniel’s last chance, due to his age, to be adopted. We prayed and decided to take him for hosting, so that he could try finding a family among our acquaintances. The hosting month was coming to an end and we still could not find a family for Daniel. After sometime of prayer we got together with our family and decided to start the paperwork for adoption.
Daniel is a handsome boy. He is 15 but small with the stature of a 12 year old. Even though Daniel is quite calm he can be very active during his favorite sports like soccer. His biggest dream is to be adopted in America by a loving family with siblings.
We are a family of 7 and we do not adopt just to make our family bigger. We adopt to serve the Lord and save another life. We are planning to go to Ukraine and make Daniel our son at the end of August – mid September. All documents are ready and we are approved for the adoption . All we need is a prayer support and finances to pay adoption expense bills.
We got approved for up to $2500 matching grant from Lifesong for orphans. Your donation will be doubled for us if you donate online or mail the check ( our account # 7024 Gaponov, see instructions below).
We would appreciate any amount you are able to give. The amount needed is overwhelmingly large; but please do not think whatever you are able to give is insignificant – it is a piece of bringing Child home and is appreciated more than we are able to express.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory” Ephesians 3:20-21
We would greatly appreciate you sharing this opportunity to bless children with your friends and family.
