Introducing Elouise Ciela Thomas!
She was born October 28th, at 35 weeks weighing 5.3 lbs to her first mom, Celest, whom we are forever indebted to for choosing us to love her baby girl forever.
Celest’s name means heaven/sky. To honor her and her Mexican heritage, we feminized the Spanish word cielo, which means heaven/sky. In an extra special touch, during our first trip together Adam and I ate a little cafe in Mexico called Cielo and have visited a few others around the world since. Never could have imagined a full circle moment quite like this.
If you need us, we’ll just be over here in a puddle of tears staring at our precious girl, a tangible evidence of the Goodness of God. Thank you to everyone who has been on this long journey with us, praying with us, supporting us and standing in the trenches with us. As we hold our daughter in our arms, the wait. the heartache, the lamenting, it all makes so much sense now. It was always HER.

from a legal standpoint to share everything but we absolutely can’t wait! Our three year journey to parenthood finally has a new chapter! Thank you for all the prayers and support on this tumultuous journey. We can’t put into words how much it means to us.
