Hello! We are the Watson Family! Our family consists of mom and dad, James and Melissa, and our 3 boys, Fischer, Coleman, and Brooks. We enjoy spending time as a family outdoors, camping, and hiking. We enjoy watching our boys play sports and spending time at home watching movies and playing games. It is our desire to add a little girl from India to our family.
Throughout our marriage we have been presented with numerous opportunities to share God’s love. We have participated in many outreach programs that have allowed us to serve and show Christ by our actions. We have worked with children and youth of all ages and have poured into their lives in efforts to live out our faith and be obedient to Christ.
Both of us have had various life experiences that have created in us a love for children. Melissa spent time traveling to different countries and visiting orphanages when she was younger. James grew up in an abusive household and does not want any child to be fearful and not know the love of a father. God has prepared us through our experiences to serve in student and children’s ministries at our church; to love and disciple children of all ages. It is our love for children that gives us a strong desire to nourish, love, and disciple them.
Now we want to adopt and bring a little girl into our home so that she will know the love of God and the love of a family. It is our desire that our marriage reflect the love of God to the world. We want our marriage to be one that seeks to glorify and serve God as a witness to how good He is. Part of that is to love and protect orphans and to raise up children to know and love God. It is out of an overflow of God’s love and our desire to be obedient to Christ that we want to adopt.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
