Hi there! We're the Nicelys-- Matt, Caitlin, Micah, and Eleanor. Together, we are excited to share that we are growing our family through adoption! Before marriage, Matt and I have had a heart for adoption and always knew adoption would be part of our family's story. As young adults we both had seeds planted in our hearts for adoption, and after we met, we discussed that we planned to grow our family through adoption. As a newly married couple, we were very involved in our church & became friends with other adoptive families-- attending fundraisers and conferences on adoption. We furthered our calling to adopt on a mission trip to Africa, where we saw firsthand the impact of the world's orphan crisis. After having 2 beautiful biological children, we continued to pray over our family & this fall felt the call to finally begin our adoption journey!
Here we are almost a decade later, finally fulfilling God's purpose for our lives. We have started our journey to adopt a daughter from China. And currently, we just finished the home study phase & are moving onto preparing the dossier to send to China! We are so eager to meet our daughter and are praying for her, and thinking about her daily.
With that being said, we are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $3,500 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We do not want finances to keep us from bringing our daughter home. It is never easy to ask for help, but we know that many have a heart for adoption and helping the orphan-- but maybe aren't necessarily called to adopt. You can still support the adoption of others and be part of God's call to care for the orphaned.
Not only will we be raising $3,500, but an amazing organization is matching this fundraiser, dollar for dollar! Every dollar you donate, will be doubled!! What an amazing blessing! We will end this fundraiser with a total of $7,000 to put towards our adoption funds.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
