Our Love in Seoul: The Love Family’s Second Adoption Journey

Timothy and Megan Love
Timothy and Megan Love Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Adopting our son from South Korea has been the greatest blessing and gift of our lives. Since his adoption, we have known that we would like to adopt again, but did not know when that would be. Certain doors had closed and we weren’t sure if it was even a possibility for us anymore. For over a year we have prayed for wisdom to know what God’s plans were for our family, and we were completely open to his leading.

Fast forward to now, where doors were widely thrown open and we were almost thrust through them by the Holy Spirit. The time is now, and we are moving even more quickly than we did with our first adoption. Because of this, we have several immediate financial needs but we are trusting the Lord to provide them as He always does.

Some of our upcoming adoption costs are:

$20,500 – Korean Program adoption fee (due upon match with a child this spring or summer)
$4500 – Second US processing fee (due upon match with a child this spring or summer)
$800 – USCIS application (due this fall)
$5000 – Travel to Korea (due early next year)
$3400 – Korea quarantine fees (if this is still ongoing due to the pandemic next year, we have to spend 14 days in a government hotel and pay $140 per person for 14 days upon arrival in Korea. We are praying it is over by the time we have to travel!)

We’ve got this! We know that with God, all things are possible.

We believe in adoption with our whole hearts, and it has been the greatest gift and privilege of our lives to be our son’s parents. We are truly blessed to be walking this path again towards our child who is waiting on the other side of the world.

We are thrilled to say that Church of the City in Franklin, TN has partnered with us to match up to $5,000 donated through this tax-deductible website, which would bring in $10,000 total for our upcoming adoption costs. All donations made through this site are tax-deductible!

We would just so appreciate if, above all, you could please pray for us; for our hearts, for peace, for patience, for health, for financial provision, for the health of our child and for the caretakers looking after him or her in the meantime. Please pray for security and protection and safety throughout this process. We move forward with expectancy and thank you on this day one for your love and support during our journey.

Thank you so much for all of yoru love and support!
