Looking for our small Frye!

Chris and Angie Frye Louisville, Kentucky

We are Chris and Angie Frye and we have been called to Adopt!

A little bit about us….

When we tell our story, we get reminded of how God’s hand was in it from the beginning. From Chris taking a job that led him to Kentucky, to me sitting in the same section as him each Sunday at church, there were so many little things that had to happen at the right time for us to come together.

When we started dating, we liked to take long walks where we would share our stories with each other and talk about our dreams for our future. Chris was 33 and I was 44 and neither of us had been married or had children. We shared how we did not always walk with God, but at this time in our lives we were dedicated to Him and wanted to live accordingly. Talks of having children came up several times and we both agreed that if God had a plan for us to have children then we wanted that too. Chris proposed after 3 months of dating and we were married 6 months later (Sept. 2015). It was a step of faith and it was worth the wait!

For the last 3 years we have been praying and believing that at the right time God would expand our family. We have not received a diagnosis of infertility, but my doctor believes I have gone through early menopause. During this time the desire of my heart to adopt resurfaced. I remembered that from a young age I had always talked about adopting, specifically from within our own country. God has been faithful, gracious and patient in our fears and doubts of the unknown. We have not been matched with our child as of yet but we are open to the child or children God has planned for us. We believe that God will bring us together, just like He did with Chris and me.

As part of our fundraising efforts we have a 1000-piece Noah’s Ark puzzle that reflects God’s masterpiece and how He keeps His promises. About 300 pieces have been sponsored and we would like to invite you to be a part of His puzzle. Please consider sponsoring one or more pieces ($5 minimum per piece). With your donation please tell us the number of pieces you’d like and the name(s) you wish us to write on your piece(s). The completed puzzle will be framed and hanging in our child’s room, as witness to all who stood in agreement with this miracle.

We are excited to share that Orphan Care Alliance approved us for a matching grant up to $4,000! So the first $4000 raised will be doubled!

Your donation will go to the overwhelming cost of adoption, whether it be attorney/agency fees, travel, birthmother expenses, etc.

We are thankful for your support whether it be financially or in prayer, or both, as we continue to walk in what God has called us to.

In Him,
Chris and Angie Frye
