After adopting our first son Leon in July of 2022, we knew that adoption would be in our story again. Unsure as to how or when, it was made obvious in October of this year. We received a call from our adoption agency that Leon’s birthmother was pregnant and wanted to know if we would be open to adopting. We had an immediate yes in our hearts, with many unknowns.
We have had a tremendous amount of change this year. Nick quit his job in June (with a prompting for the Lord) and Emily started a new job in August. This time off for Nick allowed him to dream about what was next, which has just now been realized. He has just started his own sales consulting company called Grow Culture! Along with job transitions, we both have felt an awakening in our spirit to radically pursue holiness and freedom that comes with following Jesus and to help others do the same. God has called us into a new type of prayer ministry and we have never seen Him moving in us and through us like this before.
With all of this transition and change, we did not see adoption coming, but know it is supposed to be in our story.
