Howie Family Adopts Again

Kristina Howie Orange City, Iowa
We are Kenton and Kristina Howie! God has blessed us with three kids so far and they fill our lives with so much laughter, joy, and love. We met early in 2013 and were married in the summer of 2014. Early in our marriage we had a miscarriage and struggled with infertility. We felt God call us to pursue adoption and within a year we were matched with our oldest daughter’s first mama. A week before Kezlyn was born we found out we were pregnant with our son Kendrix. Kristina wanted twins and Kenton wanted one baby at a time and God gave us virtual twins. They are eight months apart and the best of friends!
If we had found our we were pregnant any sooner we likely would have put the adoption process on hold and if we had gotten matched any sooner we likely would have stopped trying to get pregnant. We truly believe that God brought them into our lives at just the right time! When they were both one we had another miscarriage. Both losses were devastating, but we trusted God to comfort and guide us and grow our family in His way and in His time. A year later we found out we were pregnant with our daughter Kinzey. While Kristina was still pregnant with her God made it clear that we needed to adopt again. We have been praying about it and are trusting God to guide this whole process and provide the finances and resources we need.
Our family has been awarded $10,000 in matching grants from Amado Adoption Foundation + Lifesong for Orphans Adoption Funds. We are so grateful and feel so blessed to have their support and help in raising funds. This is truly an answer to prayer! The kids are so excited to have another baby to snuggle and love and Kezlyn is especially excited to have a sibling who looks like her. Our hope is that we can bring a baby home soon and have all of our kids close in age. We would love to have your prayers and support as we follow God’s call for our family!
