Adam and Kara have 6 children and are in process of adopting 2 baby boys from Ukraine.
We brought our daughter, Karalyne home in January 2021. Many people ask why we chose to adopt internationally. We learned from a friend who was adopting from the same country as we did that there are about 90,000 orphans living in orphanages. While some children are truly orphaned (having lost their parents), others are abandoned by their parents due to special needs or taken away due to neglect or substance abuse. Unfortunately all of these factors are very common there.
We are completely finished with our paperwork and one piece of paperwork was due to arrive in Ukraine the day Russia attacked Ukraine. Our hearts break for Ukraine and for the people we love there. We pray for their safety daily.
While our adoption is currently stalled, we hope to use this time to work towards fully funding our adoption. We are thankful to Lifesong and Tim Tebow for their generous matching grant of $10,000!

- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
