Hoping to Adopt!

Darin Gundy
Darin Gundy Eureka, Illinois

Both Kelsey and I (Darin) always wanted to be parents and envisioned our married life raising children in a Christian home. We love kids and are excited to welcome children into our home. Adoption has always been something that has been on both of our minds since we were young. We feel that it is part of our own personal Christian journey to supply a good home for a child in need to grow up in a safe and loving environment.

We ask for prayers – for our future child, for our child’s birth parents, and for us in the waiting. We also ask for financial support for adoption expenses. Please do not feel obligated to give unless you truly feel that you should support us in that way. We appreciate all support during this journey! If you still feel inclined to help our cause, you can leave a donation to us through this mySTORY account. We have been awarded a $1,500 matching grant from Crosspoint Community Church Adoption Fund, administered by Lifesong for Orphans. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and support!

STRIPE charges an online processing fee (2.2% +.30 USD per transaction). Your donations will be decreased by this amount. You may also send a check payable to “Lifesong for Orphans”. In the memo line please write “Gundy 7559”, to ensure it is credited to our account. Please mail to Lifesong for Orphans, PO Box 40, Gridley, IL 61744.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.

  • In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
  • Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
