Hey! We are Brad & Megan and are so grateful that you are taking the time to get to know us a bit.
We were both born & raised in Indiana in loving Christian homes. Brad works for a small, but very successful family owned business that sells attachments for tractors, excavators, & skid steers. He is currently the production scheduler, but as he has a very strong work ethic, he has held many hats at this job. Megan has worked for over 18 years as a pharmacy technician at a large chain drugstore. Although she enjoys what she does, she is looking forward to the day that she can be a stay at home momma. Healthy eating, good coffee and being outside are just a few of the things we enjoy among many others. We are involved in our church and are part of a home group where we have a great core group of friends that we love to connect with.
We have been married for 11+ years. We have both wanted to grow our family for years and Megan has ALWAYS had a heart for adoption. In March of 2019, she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 35. After undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, she was placed into a medically induced menopausal state and is no longer able to have biological children. We are blessed to know that God already knew that and has been preparing us for adoption. We believe that adoption, for us, is not a second choice, a fallback option or because we can’t have our own biological children. We are seeking to parent the very child(ren) who God created for us to care for here on this earth. We are excited to become parents to a child of either gender and any race. We are currently in the waiting process of our adoption and we are working with Gateway Woods in Leo, IN.
We have been so blessed with a matching grant of $4,000 funded by Lifesong. We have also received another matching grant of $4,000 funded by We Care for Orphans, an “Outside the Walls” partner who wants to support Lifesong adoptive families. This gives us a total matching grant of $8,000, which means that any money donated to us, is met up to $8000!
Thank you so much for your continued prayer and support during this journey!
Grace & Peace,
Brad & Megan
