My name is Quinn Leggett, I am a freshman in college at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. Last year I was blessed with the opportunity to go to Haiti on a missions trip with a team from my high school. The experience we had there with Lifesong MBO was unmatched by any mission work I’ve done. Since leaving I have felt that one week was not it for me and my time there. This unsettling feeling of being away from this place led me to inquire Mike and Amy and their team with Lifesong about an internship. Making this opportunity into a reality would be nothing short of amazing. I want to make sure I make the habit of prioritizing experiences like this, starting with this internship.
More background on me and my story starts with where I am from. I grew up in Carlsbad, California; being one of four girls. Being a big family my parents always put our hands to use volunteering at church giving back to the community. Whether it be stepping up and forming a sister band to lead kids worship to organizing and volunteering in an organization (Athletes for Education & Live4Legacy); committed to helping families in our community who are in need.
With your help and generosity I can make that reality happen. Any donation is appreciated. The costs for my time there are purely living and flight expenses, as well as all donations are tax deductible. I have a lot of love and energy and by helping me out with this step in my journey, you are helping me share that with others.
