Growing Our Family Through Adoption- The Duersons

We got married in October of 2019 after being together for several years.  In 2020 we knew that God wanted us to start the process of adopting.  We began having some fundraisers and the road eventually led us to an application with our agency in November 2021.  Since then we have be going through the homestudy process and have identified our country as India.

We are so excited to open our home to a child.  We enjoy spending time together as a family in the outdoors.  We look forward to sharing our love of the outdoors with our kids. We also look forward to seeing what things our children enjoy and the new things we will get to do as a family.  At this point we do not know if we will have a boy or girl, siblings, or what special needs that our child may have; we know God will bring us into the life of our child at the right time.

We would greatly appreciate you support through a donation.  We were blessed by a matching grant of $8000 so each dollar you donate to our fundraiser helps us raise even more to cover our agency fees and many other expenses that will be coming our way over the next several months.  We are so thankful for Aim5 and Lifesong for Orphans for providing this grant opportunity for us and for you for supporting us with a donation!

  • Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
