Our home study is complete and we’re officially considered to be a family in waiting!
We do not know when this is going to happen, but God has prepared us to take on the role of dad and mom for the little blessing He already has lined up for us. As we prepare to bring a baby into our home, we’ve been overwhelmed with your sincere prayers & well wishes as we prayed about God’s plan for us. You even prayed as we journeyed through the tough moments of infertility & the treatments. We are grateful.
We ask that you continue praying for us, but add the birth family to your list too. These families have an incredible task of choosing love and loss in the same breath. While we are excited about the joy adoption will bring to our lives, we understand the pain that comes with the decision to bless someone else. Their kindness is a choice that comes from incredible strength.
Adoption is our answered prayer, but it’s costly. On average, domestic adoption fees range $30,000-$55,000 (agency fees, legal fees, paperwork needs of the birth mother, travel, etc.), but GOD IS FAITHFUL. He has blessed us with an amazing community of family, friends, church and work who have made a commitment to be with us every step of the way. WE TRUST GOD and we know that we lack nothing as He will provide everything we need, however many have asked how you can help beyond prayers.
Assisting with the seemingly insurmountable financial costs to bring Chase or Carrington (yes, we have names) home is another way you can help. No amount is too small, nor is one too large….what comes from the heart reaches the heart. Should you choose to give to us directly, just let us know and we can arrange that as well. Whatever you decide, even if it’s continued prayers, we are grateful.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
