Bringing Home Our Precious Girl

Paul Evans
Paul Evans Chelsea, Alabama

Dear Friends & Family,

We are in the process of adopting a precious little girl from Eastern Europe using Lifeline Children’s Services. Though we do not know our little girl yet, we do know this: she needs a safe and caring home where she can thrive, develop, and learn about Jesus. God has adopted us into His loving care, which compels us to reach out through adoption (Ephesian 1:5-6). God began something in our hearts several years ago for adoption, and we trust Him as we jump all in!

God has already provided $37,000 of the total $47,000 needed as of August 2021 through many people. Now we only have $10,000 more to go.  We are so thankful to God for providing what has been needed each step of the way this far to brinthis to help us reach our goal.

Our prayer is that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our children as they grow up no longer as orphans, but as heirs that are loved, chosen, & adopted into the family of Christ.

Also, please forward our story on to ONE OTHER PERSON to multiply the interest in joining our cause. We trust that God will provide the funds needed to complete this adoption. One way may be through people like you. Would you ask God if He would like you to give? In addition, please pray God would move mountains to bring our precious girl home.

Thank you for playing a part in our journey!

God bless,

The Evans Family

Waiting through a Pandemic

November 21, 2020

We knew when we decided to adopt that it would not be easy. However, we never would have imagined that it would be a “pandemic” that would delay the process.

18 months ago we thought that this would be the longest that we would have to wait until we were back home with our little princess. Here we are now 18 months in, still waiting to be matched with no end in sight, faced with new uncertainties every day as her country increases lockdowns.

We will be making the most of the holidays with our awesome boys as we long to have our daughter and their sister with us. Please continue to pray for us as we continue to wait to meet our sweet Adley.

The Alone Princess

June 15, 2020

Somewhere on the other side of the world there is a little girl wanting to be held, wanting to be told that she is beautiful and loved. She looks around at the world around her and wonders what she did to deserve to be alone. Little does she know that as the days go by and her despair grows, there is a family that is praying for her safety and praying for her to feel loved. Even in her darkest hours as she feels alone and unloved there is someone thinking and praying for her. Someone that already and always will love her, her father.

You see the “alone princess” is not so alone after all. Her father, a stranger from another country, will soon tell her how he longed to hold her and tell her that she is beautiful. How he looked forward to tucking her in each night, dancing with her when she is happy and comforting her when she is sad. And most importantly tell her about how our Heavenly Father had been with her the whole time that she felt alone.

One day soon their worlds will collide and the two will meet and the little princess will have her family and her happy ever after.

Excited Brother

December 14, 2019

This jacket was given to us from a friend of a friend for Adley. We put it in the closet to remind us to pray for her daily. Also, as a reminder that she will be with us one day soon. I came in one day and found that Ryker had put it in between his stuff. When I asked him why he said, ” I love baby sister!”

We have picked a name!!

September 10, 2019

We have picked a name for our sweet girl! We are so excited to share this news. The name Adley just sounded perfectly right to us as we prayed over it. Olivia was my parent’s 2nd pick for my name, so it is such a wonderful way to honor my mom and dad. As you pray, you will have a name to go with it. #oneless #onelesseu #wantedlovedchosenadopted #arrowsx4 #adleyolivia
