Bringing Home Linia and Junior!

Kindra Church Clarkston, Washington

God first called me to Haiti when I was 14 years old.  It was 6 years before I was able to obey Him but when I did it changed me.

After living there a while God made it clear to me I was to adopt.  Over the next few years I adopted my two oldest daughters.

After meeting and marrying my husband ten years ago we have gone on to add 5 more children via adoption and foster dozens more.

Nearly 5 years ago we began the process to be Linia and Junior's family.  Satan has put up road blocks and detours but we know God will win.

We don't believe in quitting on children so we have continued to pursue them despite the mounting costs.  After starting the process over completely in the fall of 2015 (due to changing laws) it is finally happening.  We expect our sweet babies, now ages 15 and 10, to be joining us before next summer.

Please join us in being a family for these two brave children.  We've got our final payment to the agency due soon and then airfare and we have spent all we have.

Bit by bit

July 15, 2017

Yesterday’s updates may seem small but they are steps forward.  Junior’s documents are still on a very busy translator’s desk somewhere.  Linia’s papers are headed to Children’s court.  Praising God for the direction they are headed!

Progress!

July 1, 2017

Yesterday we received news that Junior received his Article 16 letter from IBESR.  Dossier is headed to the translator next week and then we can file our I800 for him.  Guys, there is a good chance that he is on track to be able to come home with us when we return from Haiti after Christmas!  Been lots of happy tears this week.

An important step in getting Linia’s adoption moving again is supposed to happen Monday.  Prayers that the person necessary on Monday is able to make it.

Thanks prayer warriors!
