Bringing Baby Sivells Home

Cabott and I got married in 2017, and lived in Nashville for the first couple years of our marriage. While we were there, our church started an initiative of “No More Fatherless.” No More Fatherless began to end “spiritual” and “physical” fatherlessness by planting churches, helping pregnancy centers, funding adoption grants, and opening up a larger auditorium to help save the lost. When this started, Cabott and I’s hearts began to break over what we could do to help end this.

In December of 2017, we found out we were pregnant with our daughter Emerson. Shortly after Emerson’s first birthday, we began to try to have another child. After many many months, we began to seek God in how to expand our family. In April of 2020, a friend actually spoke to us about adoption. It brought us back to our time in Tennessee. We began researching and praying, and immediately knew God was calling us to adoption. On June 1, 2020 we officially became a waiting family. During this process, we never lost hope in being able to get pregnant naturally. In September of 2020, we found out that we were pregnant with our miracle baby! Unfortunately, we lost the baby in an emergency surgery. This has been hard for our family, but we know that God is still faithful in expanding our family!

We have been on this journey since April of 2020, and we know that in God’s time Baby Sivells will come home. Unfortunately, with adoption comes a lot of financial costs. Luckily, we were blessed to get the call that we received a $4,000 matching grant through Lifesong with Hope that Binds.  We are hoping this will be our last huge fundraiser in order to have all our funds ready when we get the call.

Several have asked how much the adoption could cost. Below is a list of fees that we have to pay for that your donation will go toward.

What fees are there?

-home study fees approx $2,500

-agency fees $5,000

-attorney fees $??

-medical cost $????

-living expenses for the birth family $??

-court fees $??

Roughly $35,000 or more

We cannot thank everyone enough for all that y’all have done in order to help Bring Baby Sivells Home!!
